Can Trump’s Common-Sense Mandate Secure America’s Future?

In the quest to shape the future of America, Donald Trump’s second term can’t afford to be bogged down by political correctness. To truly leave a lasting legacy, Trump must focus on three core issues: securing the border, placing competent individuals in cabinet positions, and moving the REAL needle for the average American. This is my opinion, a no-nonsense, results-driven approach that can break free from the failed systems of the past. Trump said, “Promises Made, Promises Kept.” Can he deliver?

Donald Trump promises made promises kept

Promise #1 = Build the Wall and Secure the Border

To start, Trump must prioritize securing the border, which could involve a temporary halt on immigration and the construction of a physical wall along the southern border. This will act as a deterrent and show physical signs of seriousness.

Next, deportation is a Trump campaign promise, beginning with convicted criminals. Afterward, the FBI and local police should collaborate to identify and deport individuals on terror watchlists, along with those linked to hostile foreign governments, particularly from regions like China, Nigeria, and the Jihadist of the Middle East.

Finally, local police and state governments need to be fully engaged in processing the necessary paperwork, while transportation companies will play a crucial role in executing this logistical effort.

Promise #2: Place Competent Individuals in Cabinet Positions

To effectively advance the President’s agenda, it’s essential to appoint individuals with a strong work ethic and the expertise to drive real progress.

  • Take Elon Musk, for example — his innovative vision can unlock immense potential for America, accelerating growth and reducing inflation at an unprecedented pace simliar to that of recent Argentina.
  • Additionally, in Trump’s last administration, we saw Jared Kushner’s unwavering dedication to negotiating “America First” deals highlights his competence in shaping policies that directly benefit everyday citizens. These are the kinds of leaders who can truly Make America Great Again.

Promise #3: Move the REAL Needle for “We the People”

Too many administrations rely on misleading economic metrics that fail to reflect the true state of the economy. It’s time to shift the focus to real indicators that directly impact American families.

  • Real Wages and Wage Growth: Unlike nominal wages, which are unaffected by inflation, real wages show true purchasing power. When wages rise faster than inflation, consumers can save and spend freely and their standard of living improves.
  • Real Purchasing Power: Focusing on affordability is key, as inflation often erodes the value of nominal earnings. Remember when your parents could “go the movies for a nickle”? We need to bring back a strong dollar that goes further for average Americas.
  • Real Unemployment: The U.S. Department of Labor’s unemployment statistics fail to reflect the full picture of economic hardship. The official unemployment rate (U-3) only counts those actively looking for work, but it overlooks several important groups. This Excludes Discouraged Workers: Individuals who have given up searching for work due to a lack of opportunity aren’t counted, despite still being potential workers. It Doesn’t Account for Underemployment: Part-time workers seeking full-time jobs aren’t included in unemployment statistics, even though they remain underutilized. And it Ignores Workforce Participation: Declines in workforce participation, like fewer people entering or staying in the labor force, can make the unemployment rate seem lower than it truly is.

These shortcomings mean the official unemployment numbers understate the true scale of economic struggles for many Americans. Focusing on these real metrics will offer a more honest view of the economy and its impact on “We the People.”

In Conclusion, Trump has a chance here…can he deliver?
